We believe that much of the magic and many of the problems of the world are matters of scale, and yet that we are not really wired to understand the extremes of scale — or even exponential change in general. This website can be a powerful tool in achieving that understanding and giving individuals around the world new ways to understand the relative size of things.

  2. The power of 10 portrays and explains about the infinity of nature. It illustrates the surrounding nature that we are familiar with as the starting point then it zooms out in the power of ten in distance and time to show how big it is and how it go further and further; infinite. Then it goes back to the starting point and zoom in instead this time to our body and every molecules that create us and this world. I think its a way to show us how big the universal and nature is.... soo big that human won't be able to conquer it as some of us think we can. And we humans are also a part of it... 3. Wow! l like this kind of clip. It’s so simple and easy to understand. For me, this clip doesn’t teach me only about different scales of the universe but also show me that the smallest thing, which we can’t even see, is the important role for every larger thing. When these little things combine together, they produce powerful impact to everything that’s bigger than themselves as this makes them stronger or more stable. I think this principle can be adapted to our daily lives, especially in work which will make an excellent foundation.

  4. I find this clip very interesting. My friend once showed it to me and I was really impressed. Starting with a sleeping man at a picnic the film takes the viewer on a journey out to the edge of space and then back into a carbon atom in the hand of the man at the picnic all in a single shot. It is an unforgettable experience. This made me realized how big the entire universe and nature is and how small we are when compared to it. Nature is great. I never get tired watching this video!
